I read about this sad news on the weekend .
I am so glad that I took the time last year to drive down to Seattle to see him for my first (and now last) time. He was incredible, but at the time I never knew that he had been fighting cancer for years. Untill this week, I never really though twice of him being bald, for other than just personal choice reasons.
The first Montrose album is one of the best ever , and deservingly was voted as the 4th best Metal Album of ALL Time by Kerrang! Magazine some years ago.
No Filler All Killer, every song on that album is great and sounds distinct , but the album also flows together flawlessly. It was a privlege to see the songs done live for my first time last year \m/
