I figured I could post this since my friend King of Deceased emailed me and left me a myspace comment that was public.
Quote:

kingy

I told him the venue sucked but we will get a couple of local thrashing death.... I was thinking Skelator and Fallen Angels!!!!!!!

Fallen Angels and Deceased. It has to happen......

Cheers!

That would be a killer line-up Scott! Let me know if you can put in a good word, I'll email Dana and see if we can't get ourselves and Fallen Angels in the running for openers. That'd be fucking sweet.

No problem! King got me my first vip backstage pass at Wacken 2000 when October 31 played. And then I put in a good word with the Wacken people and Deceased got booked for Wacken 2001. And the band thanked me for "Getting them booked at Wacken" in the thanks list on the "Behind the Mourners Veil" EP (which I saw them "wrap" in Oblivion studios in Virginia, when I went to visit King and stayed with him for 3 days)

Of course I can put in a good word. I will go email him now.

Eric- (or is it Erik?) I already did man!!! I put in words for F.A. and Skelator.

King says he does not care about the venue as long as he can ROCK AND ROLL

The only thing I am missing is a FUM long sleeved baseball jersey. They were super limited and finding my size was a issue.

I even have a cassette tape (homemade by Mike Smith guitarist of Deceased) of Supernatural Addiction in "demo" form and it includes the Blair Witch Project movie samples on "Elly's Dementia"!! :beerbang: :beerbang:

I have seen them 6 times. :) not including their practice in Kings basement in 2001, when he farted during "The Silent Creature" and while drumming and "waved it" my way as he continued drumming and mouthed ""I just farted"!! Awesome dude. I will introduce you to him at MDF

ETA- The offical release of Supernatural Addiction had the Blair witch samples missing, due to the band getting refused permission to use them by the film company.

I've seen then three times but haven't seen then since the New England Metal and Hardcore festival some years back. This will be one of my rare appearances at El Corazon :)

I was there for that. They fucking tore it up. I remember King saying something along the lines of "Here's one we grew up to and one we threw up to!" and did a killer cover of Venom's "Black Metal" to close the set. What year was that... 2002?
