Hey!

We are looking for a keyboard player who can play and write epic shit along the lines of Bal-Sagoth, Emperor, Basil Poledouris, Rhapsody, Goblin, Rick Wakeman, John Carpenter, etc.

-Must have gear
-OK with playing atmospheric stuff that lays in the background
-Transportation a huge plus

I'm sure you can go without playing for long periods... you manage to do it with singing!

Me, I can't even play keyboards, but hey, if you're ever looking for an oboist for your band, I'm your girl!!

I wonder if I can pass this along to someone I know...someone who'd be more epic than me. I'm more dark, depressing type of keyboardist. haha.

EDIT: after listening to Bal Sagoth, yeah, I've played stuff like that. Maybe I need to contact you!

Yeah, drummers and bass players make good keyboardists and some singers know piano to accompany themselves. I personally know a bassist that writes really good keyboard parts --Carl. I loved playing his parts. I kind of miss it.

I would really be interested in this but my keyboard hasn't worked in years. I can still play but I can't afford any equipment of my own.

...And it's also still in Nevada.

You could do what most touring bands do & have someone (or yourself) just record the keyboard parts for you & sync it to a click track.

The keyboards will be coming in and out a lot so it would be a bitch to stay on the same tempo till the next backing track came in. Blaeden from Drakul might be helping us out. We might look for another guitar player soon as well.
