and what a mighty tour it was!
a lot of driving, smoking, waiting, and a lot of sight seeing! lots of encounters with cool locals, crappy locals, weird people, hostile soundmen, weird club owners, obsessive christian club owners, etc! by the time we played our 4th show in eureka, we were super tight and all out devastating, there will be footage uploaded soon from some of the shows.
all in all, the greatest and most powerful experience i've ever had, and it put a lot of things in perspective for me, especially the scene here. I heard some people were hoping we would fail and that our tour was 'meaningless', for those of you who said that, jealousy is quite a bitch, huh? We didn't have to pay out of our own pockets for this tour, and after we all rented the van (pre-2 bit show), it was smooth sailing. We made $ off the door @ every single show, and merch as well. every single city, and so did Sacrament ov Impurity( who are more evil and powerful than ever with their new-line up and songs!!!) oh wait, i heard we didn't have any merch to go on tour with!
we established contacts , got smoked out here and there, and saw the west coast , had a great time.
touring is the thing to do. and i can't wait to get out there and do it again. now, to record the LP and get back to work! thanks to all of you @ the seattle and PDX shows that came out and were VERY supportive, especially those who got merch/tour shirts, etc. ... i owe lots of you a big hug.
