The Decibel Magazine Tour in Columbus, OH moved to new location due to conflicting religious beliefs with venue ownersAgoura Hills, CA - April 3rd, 2012 - The highly anticipated inaugural Decibel Magazine tour kicks off in a mere eight days in Columbus, OH. It wasn't too late, however, for the venue owners to prohibit the bands from appearing at The Brewmaster's Gate. Behemoth, Watain, The Devil's Blood, and In Solitude are being forbidden from playing at the venue because of religious conflicts with the venue owners. These bands are no strangers to this type of treatment, and a new venue has already been confirmed. The Columbus, OH show will now be at Al Rosa. Tickets for this show are still available and can be purchased HERE. Behemoth's front man, Nergal, comments further: "Wow, big motherfuckin' WOW! We are facing a legendary moment: Amerika, the land of the free, is banning Behemoth coz of religious beliefs. The madness starts in Ohio, but of korz we are playing anyway. Nothing can stop us now. God, please save me from this freedom…"

Someone better call the Wha-mbulance. So what? The venue owner had the right not to allow them to play. If I owned a venue and some jewish/muslim/christian band tried to play I wouldn't allow it.
Try having your show shut down by riot cops.

One venue owner denies them and he blames the whole country? Yet he comes from a predominantly catholic country where even playing anywhere could possibly get you arrested.... how is this even newsworthy?

Couldn't agree more, just a hype to get people's attention. Seems to have worked since all I see on the facebook is Behemlolz this & Behemlolz that. Don't get me wrong I dig their music, more so the old stuff but I can't help but laugh sometimes. What I'm really excited to see is how ugly things get at Hawthorne Theatre when Watain & security butt heads about the blood/dead animals haha. I already no the place won't allow fire so it should be interesting.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a big deal if they did their research right.

Yea I agree with you on that one. It's weird how you never hear much about American bands not being able to get into Europe. But I also know that the "VISA trouble" is also just an excuse at times. I've heard of quite a few bands cancelling their US tours & using the visa excuse to cover it up so it looks like it was out of their hands.

I was on blabbermouth.net and reading an article about Watain cancelling a number of U.S. dates due to visa troubles. They were boasting how they will be victorious in the end and whoever department that takes care of visa's will be broken, etc.
I would assume that bands American or European just didn't file for a visa ahead of time. Has there been one band that even just came out and said "Yeah, we screwed up. Sorry!" I'm sure there would be a lot of upset fans regardless of a fairy tale excuse or just being blunt.
